Social media – Twitter now no longer officially supported

The image shows a large, fluffy white cloud against a clear blue sky. The cloud appears to be thick and billowy, with well-defined edges, creating a sense of depth and volume. In the bottom left corner, there is text that reads "Roaming the Paths ©." The overall mood of the image is calm and serene, capturing a beautiful, clear day.

In this statement we will explain why regarding Social media – Twitter now no longer officially supported.

I try not to get too involved in this sort of thing. However, social media seems to be a necessary evil of modern life. It is important for me and my associates to put forward an unbiased and professional appearance. It seems that this desire has become increasingly incompatible with presence on the platform now known as X, formerly Twitter.

So for Social media – Twitter now no longer officially supported.

Misinformation, bots and owner interference

It had become increasingly clear that there is unparalleled levels of interference in what people see on the X (formerly Twitter) platform. There is also unacceptable levels of automated posts and false accounts.

I cannot in good faith direct people towards this.

We cannot afford the time and effort required in administration to deal with the onslaught of spam and bot activity.

We cannot continue to interact with a platform where there is no return (possible shadow ban) for the efforts made.

Look at the pictures above and below. We need more beauty in our life and to celebrate what’s good and to be cherished. The platform no known as X is not now a place for this to exist. Lets spend more time outside and less time in futile activities.

The image shows a peaceful scene along the Kennet and Avon Canal near Pewsey. A narrow, dirt path runs parallel to the calm water of the canal, which is lined with lush, green vegetation. Tall trees with dense foliage create a canopy overhead, allowing dappled sunlight to filter through, casting a warm, golden glow on the scene. The reflections of the trees in the water enhance the tranquil atmosphere, making it an inviting spot for a quiet walk or contemplation. The overall mood of the image is serene and natural, capturing the beauty of a secluded riverside path.

A positive way forward

It is not all doom, far from it.

There is a better, new alternative that we are trailing that works well for Mini-blogging (the official name for what was formerly called a Tweet). I believe that it was created by one of the original founders of Twitter.

The image features the logo of "Bluesky," a platform or service. The logo consists of a simple, solid blue butterfly icon on the left side, followed by the word "Bluesky" in black, bold, sans-serif font on the right. The overall design is minimalist and clean, with the butterfly symbolizing freedom or openness, complementing the name "Bluesky." The background is light gray, which enhances the visibility of the blue and black elements.
