Start with a cuppa and a hot sandwich at the Royal Oak. A 2 hour stroll about the local countryside and back to the pub. \nSoup – 12.30pm – 3.30pm. Enjoy unlimited amounts of fresh homemade seasonal soups. \nIn the morning\, enjoy a Wonderful Wiltshire Winter Walk\, and from lunchtime into the afternoon\, indulge in an unlimited feast of Seasonal Soups served with freshly baked local bread\, local butter\, West Country cheeses\, and The Royal Oak’s Triple Wiltshire Ham – all with roaring log fires in every room. \nWonderful Wiltshire Winter Walk\nWinter is a great time to explore the countryside and see things in a whole new way. I won’t lie – it can be chilly or damp\, and mud will be present. But there are also magnificent things to see.
